"Laura's Kitchen" is where I have spent time over the years cooking and preparing foods for my family and others.  Making desserts, especially cakes and pies, has been an enjoyable pastime, as well as candies such as Divinity, Fudge and other candies.  Homemade candy was made by my Mother every Christmas when I was a child, and today I continue that tradition of making candy for my family.

My husband spent 37 years with The University of Tennessee and upon retirement, he started developing some agricultural oriented websites. My website came into being to organize my recipes which have been collected over the years and to share them with others. Some foods I enjoy making are also shown here. 

Laura's Kitchen has been inspected and approved by the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture Regulatory Services which has jurisdiction over food stores and food manufacturing in Tennessee.
